A new design for 4-bit RCA using quantum cellular automata technology

Since the scaling of transistors is growing rapidly, need for an efficient alternative Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS) technology to obtain further and extra processes in circuits has been known as main problem. Over last decade, Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA) recognized a suitable replacement CMOS due its excellent potential developing designs with low-power consumption, high speed, density. In this regard, lowering number gates, amount cell count, delay emphasized design QCA-based circuits. As unit logic digital arithmetic, adders play important role constructing various effective QCA designs. Ripple Carry Adder (RCA) simple form and, remarkable features, can be useful reach minimum required area power consumption. Therefore, study recommends new RCA reduce amend complexity, decrease latency. To verify correctness suggested circuit, QCADesigner-E version 2.0.3 well-known simulator used. The evaluation results confirm that proposed approximately 28.6% improvement count compared state-of-the-art four-bit coplanar technology. Also, obtained designate effectiveness advised plan.
